Redlands Pop Warner is proud to be part of a nationwide legacy that has shaped the game of football for nearly a century. Since 1929, more than 20 million young athletes have taken the field through Pop Warner programs, and according to the NFL Players Association, about 70% of today’s NFL players got their start in Pop Warner. The program has become a cornerstone of American sports culture and continues to make an impact right here in Redlands and throughout the Inland Empire.

As an official NFL Youth Partner, Pop Warner stands out for having the only standardized national rule book designed to promote consistency, safety, and fairness across all associations. While some youth leagues set their own guidelines, Pop Warner’s unified structure ensures every athlete plays under the same set of safety-driven standards, regardless of location.

One of the hallmarks of Pop Warner football is its commitment to inclusion and sportsmanship. Every player must participate through a minimum play requirement, ensuring each child gets time on the field to learn, grow, and contribute. To promote respect between teams, Pop Warner also enforces rules that prevent runaway scoring, keeping the focus on development, not domination.

At the local level, Redlands Pop Warner Is priding itself on high-quality coaching and strong leadership. Our volunteer staff includes experienced coaches who complete specialized preseason training , from USA Football certification and Positive Coaching Alliance courses to First Aid and CPR. Many bring years of playing and coaching experience at both youth and advanced levels, providing players with expert instruction and mentorship.

Redlands Pop Warner proudly competes within the Mt. Baldy Conference, one of the Inland Empire’s most established and respected football organizations. The level of competition and organization across the conference reflects the shared passion for youth development and love for the game that drive all member associations.
